Galle Fort's clock tower, the Galle Fort National Museum and the National Maritime Museum are each about 5 km from Villa Cozy, and Galle Lighthouse is about 6 km. That makes us a calm base for exploring the fort by day and coming back to a quiet garden in the evening.

Yes. Free private parking is available on site, so you can arrive by car, with a hired driver or on a scooter without hunting for a space. There is nothing to reserve and no charge. Just mention your vehicle when you book so we know to expect you.

Unawatuna Railway Station, on the coastal line from Colombo, is about 1.1 km from Villa Cozy. From the station it is a short tuk-tuk ride or a walk. Send us your arrival time on WhatsApp and we will share our map pin and simple directions to the gate.

Koggala Airport is about 8 km away. Most international visitors land at Bandaranaike International Airport near Colombo and travel down the coast by road or by train. Tell us your travel plans and we will suggest the simplest route to Unawatuna from wherever you land.

The house sits in a grassy compound with 27 kinds of fruit plants, stepping stones across the lawn, a stone table and benches in the shade. It is full of birds, which is why our host calls it a unique place. Morning tea outside is one of the simple pleasures here.
